The Craft of Copy Writing
So, you think you can write good copy? Is that because people read it, get a good laugh from it, or actually do something because if it?
This workshop will get you thinking differently about your copy and show you where to start to reach the end you have in mind.

Who will benefit
• Anyone who wants to write copy to evoke a reaction in their target audience: be that to raise their awareness, gain their interest, create desire, and drive positive action.
• All those people that feel that more could be achieved from their various written media communications.

Why you should attend
This course will make you better at your job, tell you how to stop worrying about work, show you how to sell effectively, and earn you more money!

What the programme will cover
• We will look at how to analyse the emotions in our target audience and how to respond accordingly.
• There are practical exercises designed to build confidence in the new-found techniques.
• Through looking at some examples of a wide variety of proven techniques we see how to use words to their best advantage.
• We will also look at some really bad examples and a selection of award winning TV ads.

The training method
In the homely surroundings of your offices you will discover things you never realized about how really good you are at writing brilliant ad. copy – copy that works.
We will take a look at the only two types of advertising there are and how to write for both of them. From a study of how people read advertising, we will learn about the craft of making great ads.
But there is more. We will also look at salesmanship in print. This will guide your hand in writing good sales copy whether that’s for direct mail, a brochure, or for your next press release.

Workshop Duration
Usually one day as a guide. However, some organisations have benefited from an intense ‘three and a half fascinating hours’ half-day programme – usually to address a particular concern.
The workshop is backed-up with a full delegate workbook, visual aids, and case material where appropriate.

Maximum Group Size
Ideally, no more than 12 people per workshop but since this event is designed as an in house programme with your people, it can be adjusted to accommodate your needs.
