Much of the recent work has focused on ‘change management’ in some form or another where we recognise how ‘tired’ the sector has become with ‘not another change programme’ being ‘done’ to them. At Durham Constabulary – through Pearlcatchers – used an on-line 360° feedback process for 170 of its key officers and managers where we helped facilitate individual personal development through one-to-one coaching.
Work with Natural England – through Couravel – on their ‘Advocacy’ programme led the team to winning PR Week Awards in 2009.
England Catchment Sensitive Farming Delivery Initiative staff gained a useful insight into how to improve their cold-calling responses.
Individual managers in The Environment Agency and Registers of Scotland turned to us to develop their ‘personal presence’ and hone their presentation skills.
With the Chartered Management Institute we have worked with many public sector clients on Accredited Programmes training and assessing leading to professional qualifications and NVQ Standards. Clients include the Financial Services Authority, Northamptonshire Police, many Housing Associations, City and Regional Councils, and HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England).
Bringing our skills in both marketing and management development we helped the Immigration Advisory Service Senior Management Executive Team take the organisation from its former charitable status onto a commercial footing. This involved helping staff realign their focus onto new standards of client care; as part of this exercise, our client evaluation programme was described by the Legal Services Commission as ‘a benchmark for other firms’.See 'know your customers'
