Time Management - Myth or Magic?
What do you mean you don’t have enough time – you have all the time there is!!
This programme is not about ‘time management’ because there is no such thing – it is about you! It focuses on what you do with the time you have each day, how you spend it, how you make the most of the time you have available. It will pull no punches but you will come away with a whole list of practical things you can do to manage those ‘time bandits’ that are all around you, ready to steal you time away from you.
It is a practical day with a strong ‘how-to’ approach giving attendees the confidence to develop their skills in a fun yet thought provoking way.

Who should attend
  • Those who just don’t have enough time for this sort of thing!.
  • Those who want to manage people, phones, paper and procrastination.

Why you should attend
Someone once said that ‘life is not a dress rehearsal’, and once you’ve ‘spent some time’ you can’t spend it again.  So, this workshop will show you how to get the best out of the time you’re given each day. Not only do we look at getting ourselves organised but we also look at strategies to stop others ‘stealing’ time from us – including our staff. The day finishes with an understanding of stress and how we respond to those extra demands on our time.

What the programme will cover
• An understanding of time and what it means to us.
• How to identify time bandits.
• Why we should play a BANJO every morning.
• How to stop paper soaking up time.
• Making meetings worthwhile.
• Taming the telephone.
• The One-Minute Staff Management Matrix.
• How to deal with urgent versus important tasks.
• Stress and how to stop the five drivers – driving us up the wall!

 Raymond Robert

Mrs. J Muhammad

Training Methodology
This workshop will be highly participative and your seminar leader will present, guide and facilitate the learning, using a range of methods including discussions, case studies and exercises. Where appropriate, these will include real issues brought to the workshop by delegates.
The workshop is backed-up with a full delegate workbook, visual aids, and case material where appropriate.

Workshop Duration
Usually one day as a guide although some organisations have benefited from a more comprehensive two-day programme – sometimes split over a few weeks as issues that arise on the first day may take a while to resolve internally. Be prepared to be flexible – we are!

Maximum Group Size
Ideally, no more than 12 people per workshop but since this event is designed as an in house programme with your key people, it can be adjusted to accommodate your needs.
